At SSCCM (Autonomous), we are dedicated to fostering a campus culture where every student feels safe, respected, and supported. Ragging, in any form, is strictly prohibited and we take strong measures to ensure that our campus remains a place of learning, growth, and positive interactions.

What is Ragging?

Ragging refers to any act that causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or apprehension to a student. This includes but is not limited to:

Verbal Abuse
Verbal Abuse
Insults, taunts, or ridicule
Physical Abuse
Physical Abuse
Hitting, beating, or any form of violence
Psychological Harassment
Psychological Harassment
Intimidation, bullying, or threats
Sexual Harassment
Sexual Harassment
Any unwanted sexual advances or behaviour
Academic Pressure
Academic Pressure
Forcing students to perform tasks or activities unrelated to their studies
Zero Tolerance Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any student found guilty of participating in or abetting ragging activities will face strict disciplinary action, which may include suspension, expulsion, or legal consequences.

Support and Reporting

If someone know is experiencing ragging, we encourage one to speak up. Here’s how one can report

Online Reporting: Fill out our anonymous reporting form and submit to Principal/ Vice Principal/ Coordinator/ Class Head.

Counselling Services: Visit our counselling centre for support and guidance.

Awareness and Prevention Programs

We believe in proactive measures to prevent ragging. Our initiatives include

Orientation Programs: Educating new students about the policies and resources available.

Workshops and Seminars: Conducted regularly to raise awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and to promote positive peer interactions.

Mentorship Programs: Senior students acting as mentors to guide and support newcomers.
